Privacy policy

Weekly Monger (“we”) runs weeklymonger.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who helps us process it.

What we collect

• Waitlist details you give us: building, unit (optional), email, and if you choose, first name, mobile number, what you'd buy, how often, price feedback, preferred days and pre-pay interest.
• Consent records: whether you opted in to email or SMS and when.
• How you found us: UTM campaign tags, the page you landed on, the referring site, and a referral code if a neighbor shared a link.
• Abuse prevention: a one-way hash of your IP address (we don't store the raw IP) and your browser's user-agent string.

Why

To measure demand per building, decide where to launch, contact you about your building's launch, send launch news if you opted in, and text you if you opted in to SMS. We don't sell your personal information. Your unit number is used only to count households and is never shared.

Service providers

• Supabase stores waitlist data (Postgres database).
• Resend sends our emails, including your confirmation.
• Cloudflare Turnstile checks that form submissions come from people, not bots.
• Upstash rate-limits sign-ups using hashed identifiers.
• Vercel hosts the site.

Analytics and advertising

If you don't decline in our cookie notice, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand site usage and the Meta Pixel to measure our ads. When you join the waitlist we may also send Meta a server-side event through the Meta Conversions API, including a one-way (SHA-256) hash of your email and, if given, phone number, plus your IP address and browser user-agent, so Meta can match the sign-up to an ad. We never send your email, phone or unit to Google Analytics. If you click “No thanks”, we don't load Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel and we skip the Conversions API call. To change your choice, clear this site's data in your browser.

Retention

We keep waitlist data until launch planning for your building is done, or until you ask us to delete it.

Unsubscribe from email using the link in any marketing email. Reply STOP to any text. To see, correct or delete your data, email hello@weeklymonger.com.
